When did you start blogging and what was your first review?
I started blogging in October of last year. My review was for The English Wife.
I definitely wasn’t very consistent!
Who/what inspired you to start blogging?
I knew I wanted to get more involved in the book community, but having to film myself for booktube seemed a bit much for me. I was worried about what people would think of (I know, I shouldn’t). So I decided book blogging would be better, and I’m loving it so far.
What is a blog-related goal that you have?
My goal was to get 100 followers by the end of the year. Since I’m almost at 70 now, I think I may very well surpass my goal! I wish I had been more consistent sooner, but I’m still learning.
What is one thing you wish someone told you about blogging?
I wish I had read more blogs from fellow book bloggers about organization and planning out posts. I am really bad at scheduling posts, but I have been a LOT better the past few weeks. I didn’t realize how hard it is to find the time to create content!
What was your biggest blog-related accomplishment?
I think my biggest accomplishment so far was getting 40 views on a post and getting more than 50 followers!
What types of posts do you enjoy writing?
I love reviews and “bookish” lifestyle posts.
Where do you usually blog? What does your setup look like?
Typically it’s on the couch or in bed 🙂
What was your last 5-star read?
The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw!
What was your last 1-star read?
I don’t really know. If I am reading a book and it seems like a 1 star read I just DNF it.
What are three words that make you pick up a book?
MAGIC, witches, whimsical
What is your Hogwarts House?
Ravenclaw all the way!
What is your favorite reading environment?
Laying in bed with blankets and a burning candles! AKA I’m ready for fall.
What advice would you give to new bloggers?
Jumping off of what I said above, make sure you read up on scheduling posts and creating content! Consistency is definitely key.
I am nominating The Bookish Pisces!
